Hello,
For over two decades, I dedicated myself to the world of ballet and contemporary dance. What began as movement on stage soon became much more, a deep, lived expression of my emotions, my questions, and my identity. Raised in Brazil by my mother and aunt, I grew up surrounded by strong women who cared about beauty, detail, and presence. I spent my childhood playing in the streets, observing people, colours, and buildings, and walking to the beach with my brother. We would sit after swimming and watch the sea in silence, meditating without knowing it.
My first ballet teacher sparked something in me that would never fade. She taught us not just dance, but how to see: form, light, energy, and curiosity. Through her, I began a lifelong journey of translating feelings into movement, and now, into images.
Stage was the place where I first learned to speak without words, to release joy, fear, pain, and curiosity. Today, photography has become a natural extension of that expression. I’m drawn especially to portrait and fashion photography, where I can blend storytelling, composition, and sensitivity into a visual language. My dance background gave me a sharp awareness of space and body. I use this instinct when photographing people, guiding them not just in pose, but in presence. Helping them feel their body, feel the room, feel seen.
I believe that art is a mirror, not of perfection, but of truth. One of the questions that guides my work is: What is masculinity today? I grew up in a world where vulnerability and softness weren’t often welcomed in men. Now, through photography, I want to create a space where people, especially men, can be expressive, poetic, imperfect, and real. I want them to feel beautiful. To feel safe enough to be seen.
I’m inspired by artists who create fantasy and freedom through imagery: Tim Walker, David LaChapelle, Tyler Mitchell, Kristian Schuller. Their work reminds me that photography can be a form of joy, a poetic escape, a celebration, a spark.
My goal is to offer that same feeling: to make people feel welcome, alive, and maybe a little braver. We all carry something beautiful inside us. My work is about helping people see it and letting them dare to show it.
Welcome to my world, where the grace of dance meets the honesty of photography.
